 15 mars 2010 : “Rien à me reprocher” “Rien à me reprocher” Le vainqueur de l’édition 2009 de Paris-Nice n’a pas été en mesure de rééditer la victoire obtenue l’année dernière, mais Luis León Sánchez qui est malgré tout à nouveau monté sur le podium grâce à sa troisième place au général, a de nouveau réalisé une grande course dans laquelle il a chaque jour été présent dans les premières places du peloton. “Je me suis bien senti pendant toute la course et j’aurais aimé reconduire la victoire obtenue l’année dernière mais même si j’étais en toute bonne condition, Alberto Contador était encore à un niveau supérieur et il ne nous a pas facilité les choses.” “Je n’ai rien à me reprocher car j’ai tout donné, de même que tous mes coéquipiers que je tiens à remercier pour tous les efforts consentis chaque jour.” “Aujourd’hui j’ai sprinté pour prendre les deux secondes de bonification au passage du premier sprint bonification car je savais que ce serait suffisant pour accompagner Contador et Valverde sur le podium. The winner of the edition 2009 of Paris-Nice was not able to win again this year but Luis León Sánchez who climbed one more time on the podium thanks to his third place in the general classification, achieved also this year a great race and we saw him every day fighting in the very first positions of the bunch. “I have been feeling well during all the race and I would have like to do as well as last year but even if my level was a very good one Alberto Contador was stronger than everybody else and it was really difficult to beat him.” “I have no regrets because I gave it all every day, just the same as all my team-mates which I want to thank for all the efforts they achieved all through the week.” “Today I sprinted to catch the time bonuses because I knew it was sufficient to climb on the podium together Contador and Valverde.
